The Student Council of
Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya celebrated National Girl Child Day, an
initiative to raise awareness about the National Girl Child Day. Students from
various schools (Govt. Schools for needy students) were invited to the college
and a day full of fun activities was organised for them. Girl students were all
in the ages from 6-13 and a lot of fun games were played like lemon race,
mimicry, pass the parcel etc. The winners were awarded with gifts and
chocolates and their laughing faces showcased their excitement.

Ajay Sareen presented gift hampers to all the children. Dr. Sareen addressed
the children and asked them to get education to make our society a better one.
The short event was aimed to promote a big message and the smiles on children’s
faces were the evidence that it was a success. On this occasion, Mr. Pardeep
Mehta, Mrs. Savita Mahendru, Mrs. Meenakshi Sayal, Mrs. Jyotika Minhas were also
present.
