HMV Collegiate School organized Poster cum Cartoon making competition on World Population Day

In order to sensitize students about the alarming situation of increasing population, HMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School celebrated “World Population Day” on which Poster –cum- Cartoon making competition “CARTOON –O –MANIA” was organized. The competition was organized under the dynamic guidance of Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen and School coordinator Mrs. Meenakshi Syal .The students exhibited their talent by making posters on various population related issues. HMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School always remains in frontline to motivate and encourage students by organizing such activities time and again. Such activities aware the students regarding various social concerns.  

The competition was judged by Ms. Shallu Batra (Head Economics department). In this competition Kriti of SSC II (commerce) bagged first position, Divjot of SSC II (Arts) got second position and Isha and Ritika of SSC II (Arts) got bracketed third position. Chetna of SSC I (Commerce) got consolation prize. Principal Prof. Dr. Mrs. Ajay Sareen congratulated the winners and highlighted the importance of population control to make this world a better place to live in. School Coordinator Mrs. Meenakshi Syal also appreciated the posters prepared by the students and encouraged them to participate more in such competitions to enhance their talent. The overall incharge of the event was Ms. Sukriti Sharma (Lecturer Economics Department).
