Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya organized a webinar on Shri Guru The Bahadur ji as
per the instructions of DPI Colleges Punjab under the guidance of Principal
Prof. Dr. Mrs. Ajay Sareen. This webinar was organized by Post Graduate
Department of Punjabi. The Chief Guest of this webinar was Dr. G.S. Brar
(Assistant Director, DPI Colleges Pb.) and the resource person was Prof.
Gurbhajan Singh Gill. Principal Prof. Dr. Ajay Sareen welcomed them and
encouraged the young generation to follow the path of righteousness shown by
Guru ji. She said that we should take inspiration from the life of Guru ji.
In
this webinar, the students of the college Ms. Simran Momi, Ms. Sanjamjit Kaur
Johal, Ms. Jaspreet, Ms. Gurkirat Kaur, Ms. Ripublin Kaur and Ms. Varanjit Kaur
recited poems on the life and martyrdom of Guru Teg Bahadur Ji. Head of Punjabi Department Mrs. Navroop Kaur
showed a video about Punjabi department. Prof. Gurbhajan Gill told about the
life of Guru ji during his address. Chief Guest Dr. Brar also encouraged the
young students to take inspiration from the life of Guru ji. The program was
moderated by Incharge Punjabi Sahit Sabha Mrs. Kuljit Kaur. Head of department
presented vote of thanks and stressed that even during COVID-19 situation, such
deliberations should be there. Faculty members of Punjabi department Mrs. Veena
Arora, Mrs. Satinder Kaur, Dr. Mandeep Kaur, Dr. Sandeep and all the staff
members from other departments were a part of this webinar. The technical
support was provided by Multimedia Department of the college. This webinar was
also Live on Facebook page of the college.
