The PG Department
of Computer Science and IT of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya organized
International Webinar on the topic “Emerging Technologies”. The session started
with the motivational words of Principal Prof. Dr. Mrs. Ajay Sareen. The
moderator of the webinar Mr. Gullagong, Associate Prof. welcomed all the
resource persons and participants. As resource person, Mr. Himanshu, Delivery
Head Cloud and Data Centre, Bharti Airtel Gurugram, Ms. Bharti, Backend
Developer, Prodigy Game, Canada and Dr. Anju Bala, Associate Prof., Thapar
Institute of Engineering and Technology, Patiala. Dr. Sangeeta Arora, Head of
department and Webinar Coordinator threw a light on highlights of the Computer
Science Department. Mr. Himanshu discussed about Information Technology
Infrastructure Library. He said the in IT, if we don’t know how many outrages
are there, we will not be able to progress. He also discussed about delivery parameters.
Ms. Bharti discussed about various technologies in Game Development and its
backend and frontend required tools. She also explained the different
technologies used in Project Management. Ms. Anju Bala delivered her speech on
Cloud Computing-Research Challenges and Applications. She said that now-a-days,
we should have online cloud computing service. Different cloud models like
public cloud, private cloud or hybrid cloud were discussed. At the end of the
session, the queries of all the participants were handled efficiently.
Principal Dr. Sareen said that all the three sessions were very informative and
fruitful. She congratulated the department for this webinar. HOD Dr. Sangeeta
presented vote of thanks to the resource persons. On this occasion, Mr. Anil
Bhasin, Mr. Gurmeet Singh, Mrs. Sangeeta Bhandari, Technical Coordinator Mr.
Jagjit Bhatia and Mrs. Urvashi Mishra were also present.
