Last day of 10 days Induction
Programme was dedicated to the Folk Dance at Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya.
Dr. Puja Manhas of Dance Deptt. was the Resource Person. Dr. Puja Mahnas
interacted with the participants and explained about Folk Dances of India, its
costumes & its traditional contemporary scenario. Bhangra and Giddha of Punjab, Haryanavi Dance
of Haryana and Rajasthani Dance of Rajasthan were performed to make the session
more interactive and understandable.
Dance steps and its folk songs were explained beautifully by the
resource person. She also answered the queries by students on folk dances. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen said
that this induction programme was
conducted successfully and beautifully by the incharges. On this occasion, Incharges Mrs. Meenu Kohli
and Miss Shallu Batra were also present.
