Vidyalaya organized an open Mic Event on the occasion of World Radio Day as per
the directions of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. Filled with
excitement of showcasing themselves the students from all the streams
participated in this event. Head of Department Dr. Rama Sharma briefed about
the event and said that students were provided a platform where they could
voice their ideas and inner thoughts in the form of their art. Open Mic also
provided vibrant entertainment to the students. She also told the students
about the theme of World Radio Day for the year 2025 i.e. Radio and Climate
Changing. IT emphasis how radio can improve the coverage of one of today’s most
urgent challenges. Principal Dr. Sareen said that the opportunity to explore
their unique talents and discover the concealed abilities of their classmates.
The students also learnt to appreciate others art. Around 30 students participated
in open mic event and they were appreciated and awarded with e-certificate.
Stage was conducted by Mrs. Jyoti Sehgal. She herself being RJ congratulated
students on World Radio Day. On this occasion Ms. Gayatri Kaili was also
present.
