The students of
HMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School bagged 1st position in State in Wipro
Earthian Educator Programme, one of the India’s largest programme regarding
Environment sustainability. Competing with the 1550 schools across the
country. Our students under the guidance
of Ms. Vandana Sethi , Chemistry Department won 1st position. This
is the second time Ms. Vandana Sethi trained students and got prize in State
Level. Our students of SSC-I Ranchita Sharma, Shrishti Kumar, Snehpreet and
SSC-II Ashmeet Kaur presented their project under Solid Waste Management
themed, “Study on Sustainability and Waste in and around Our Locality.” In this
programme students performed various activities as well as they got opportunity
to interact with different community members not only to collect and analyse
the data but also the project comes with solution of the raised questions. The
team and guide teachers Ms. Vandana Sethi were appreciated with Certificates. Principal
Prof. Dr.(Mrs.) Ajay Sareen congratulated the team of HMV Collegiate School and
encouraged the students to keep on participating in these kinds of events and
activities which contribute to make sustainability in environment. School
Coordinator Dr. Seema Marwaha and Co-Coordinator Mrs. Arvinder Kaur Beri also
appreciated the achievement of the whole team and guide teachers Ms. Vandana
Sethi.
