Under the inspiring leadership of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen, Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar, celebrated International Women's Day with great enthusiasm. The event, organized under the aegis of NSS and the Women Empowerment Cell, featured an expert lecture by Ms. Renu Seth, District President, Mahila Congress (Rural), Jalandhar, and Ms. Gahima Aggarwal, a dedicated social worker. The session provided a platform for insightful discussions on women's empowerment, societal contributions and challenges faced by women. The event was guided by Dr. Veena Arora, Ms. Harmanu, Dr. Jyoti Gogia, Dr. Anjana Bhatia and Mrs. Protima, who actively contributed to making the session impactful. On this occasion, a short film on the theme The Power of Women was also shown. Marking the occasion with an environmental commitment, a plantation drive was also organized, symbolizing growth, strength, and sustainability—values synonymous with empowered women.
