The HMV Competitive Examination Hub under the aegis of
Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen, organised a guest lecture on the topic,
‘Preparation for UPSC & PPSC Exam’. The resource person of the day was Mr.
Dev Raj Kaushik, Centre Head, AAA Bright Academy, Chandigarh. The event began
with the formal welcome of the resource person with a green planter. Principal
Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen appreciated the efforts of the department. She
said that success rate is more in HMV Competitive Hub. Mrs. Binoo Gupta,
Coordinator of the HMV Competitive Examination Hub highlighted the role of the
Hub in motivating the students for various competitive exams and cited various
examples of IAS and PCS HMV Alumnae. She
also said that Hub is also providing Students with Banking coaching and CA
foundation coaching with high success rate. Mr. Dev Raj Kaushik apprised the
students of various strategies of preparation for preliminary, mains and
interview. He also said that with right strategy and time management, it is very
easy to clear the exam. He also guided the students for best books for
preparation. He concluded his talk by satisfying the queries of students. Principal
Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen gave her best wishes to the students. The event
ended with vote of thanks by Mrs. Protima Mander. The organizing committee
comprised of Mrs. Binoo Gupta, P.G. Department of Commerce and Dr. Baljinder
Singh, Head of Sociology Department. They also thanked Principal Prof. Dr.
(Mrs.) Ajay Sareen for always motivating and encouraging the faculty for
organising such lectures. The event concluded with the recitation of the
national anthem.
