HMV Organized Workshop on Self Discovery through Expressive Art

 

Under the able guidance of Principal Prof. Dr Mrs Ajay Sareen, Freudian Psychological Society organized a one day workshop on Self Discovery through Expressive Art. The resource person was an esteemed counselling psychologist and expressive art therapist facilitated by UNESCO, Ms. Harshita Paul. She was welcomed by, Dr. Ashmeen Kaur, Head P.G. Department of Psychology with a planter. Ms. Harshita Paul initiated the workshop with an interactive session, engaging the students in various interactive activities. She explained how we can express ourselves with using different art modalities. How we can express our emotions and feelings. The students also made drawings commemorate this event and understand themselves. Principal Prof. Dr. Ajay Sareen appreciated this initiative and congratulated the Department of Psychology. Ms. Ramneek Kaur and Pahul Jabal (B.Voc MHC Sem 2) conducted the stage. Ms. Priya Seth (Assistant Professor) gave the formal vote of thanks .On this occasion more than 100 students from the department of psychology and Ms. Parul Sharma, Ms. Ishmanpreet Kaur and Mrs. Gurpreet Kaur PG department of Psychology participated in the workshop.
