Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar, under the visionary
leadership of Principal Dr. Ajay Sareen, successfully hosted a National Seminar
on “Innovative Pathways for a Sustainable Future: Bridging Environment,
Entrepreneurship, and Sustainability” in collaboration with the National
EduTrust of India. The seminar brought together eminent speakers, researchers
and experts to discuss transformative solutions in sustainable
entrepreneurship, green technologies, waste management, renewable energy and
environmental conservation. Dr. Dipan Sahu, Assistant Innovation Director,
Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell, Govt. of India, graced the occasion as
the Chief Guest and Resource Person. He emphasized, “Sustainability is no
longer an option but a necessity. Green innovations and technology-driven
solutions must be at the core of future entrepreneurship to ensure economic
growth without compromising the environment.” Mr. Samarth Sharma from the
National EduTrust of India highlighted the importance of integrating
sustainability into corporate frameworks, stating, “Businesses must embrace
green investments and sustainable models to create lasting economic and social
impact. The role of policy, industry collaboration, and research in this domain
is indispensable.” The seminar witnessed stimulating discussions on sustainable
entrepreneurship, green business innovations, and corporate social
responsibility. Experts shed light on emerging trends in green financing,
circular economy models, sustainable branding, and social entrepreneurship,
showcasing how businesses can strike a balance between profitability and
environmental stewardship. A major part of the seminar was devoted to green
technologies, waste management, and renewable energy solutions, with experts
presenting cutting-edge research on nanotechnology advancements, smart energy
grids, AI-driven sustainability models, and bioplastics as alternatives to
conventional materials. The discussions covered waste-to-wealth strategies,
biochar utilization, and IoT-based solutions for clean energy. Another crucial
session focused on sustainable agriculture and environmental challenges,
addressing stubble burning, climate-resilient crops, IoT-based smart irrigation
systems, and pollution forecasting using advanced computing techniques. The
speakers stressed the integration of technology and policy measures to combat
environmental degradation while promoting sustainable agricultural practices.
The event also explored green marketing, consumer behavior, and ethical
business models, analyzing the role of sustainability in consumer
decision-making, sustainable fashion, eco-tourism, and digital marketing’s
impact on green transitions. Speaking on the occasion, Principal Dr. Ajay
Sareen expressed her pride in hosting this landmark event, stating, “HMV is

seminar serves as a catalyst for discussions that bridge academia, industry,
and policymakers in pursuit of a greener future.” Convener Dr. Anjana Bhatia

and practices.” Coordinator Mrs. Meenu Kohli emphasized, “This seminar was a
