The
PG Department of Hindi of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya organized a Guest
Lecture on “Career Opportunities in Hindi” under the able guidance of Principal
Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. The resource person was Head of Hindi Department
GNDU, Dean Languages, President Akhil Bhartiya Sahitya Parishad Punjab Dr.
Sunil Kumar. The lecture started with lighting of lamp and presenting green
planter to the guest. Dr. Sunil Kumar addressed the student and said that there
are lots of career opportunities available in the field of Hindi. He said that
Hindi is not only a language but a culture and Hindustan is made up of Hindi.
Without Hindi, Hindustan can’t be imagined. He told the students that opportunities
are available in Hindi in the field of Teaching, Competitive Exams,
Advertising, Newspaper, Script Writing and Translation. Today’s era is
commercialized. The students can make their future through online modes also.
He said that Hindi is a very strong language which cannot be a barrier in your
progress. It always encourages you to achieve greater heights in future. The
students can also do freelancing. He said that Hindi can never demoralize
anyone. Principal Dr. Ajay Sareen welcomed resource person and said that
today’s lecture will be beneficial for the students. The students will be
capable to dream about their golden future and achieve further heights. She
also congratulated Head of department Dr. Jyoti Gogia, Asstt. Prof. Mrs. Pawan
Kumari and Dr. Deepti Dhir. On this occasion, Nukkad Natak was also presented
and students enthusiastically participated in Poetry Writing and Newspaper
making activity. Damini, Rohini and Sana won 1st, 2nd and
3rd prize respectively. Stage was conducted by Dr. Jyoti Gogia. Vote
of thanks was presented by Mrs. Pawan Kumari.
