Vidyalaya commenced its grand Foundation Fortnight Celebrations during
the morning assembly, under the heartfelt theme Aanandotsav@HMV – Joy of
Giving. This initiative is being held in collaboration with the National
EduTrust of India as part of their Joy of Happiness Week. Led by the
enthusiastic Student Council, the celebrations are focused on spreading the
spirit of sharing, caring, and compassion, reflecting the core ethos of HMV.
The fortnight will feature a variety of activities promoting kindness, social
responsibility, and collective well-being. On this momentous occasion,
Principal Prof. Dr. Ajay Sareen remarked: “Foundation Fortnight is not just a
tribute to our glorious legacy, but a celebration of the values we continue to
uphold. Aanandotsav@HMV is a reminder that true joy lies in giving and growing
together as a community.” The inaugural event was graced by Dr. Navroop, Senior
Most Faculty Member; Dr. Anjana Bhatia, Dean Innovation and Research; IQAC
Coordinator Dr. Ashmeen; Dr. Urvashi; Dr. Seema Marwaha; Dr. Veena Arora; Dr.
Saloni, along with all faculty incharges, who inspired and motivated the
students through their presence and support. As part of the celebration, HMV
will also be submitting a well-curated video case study highlighting its
activities and the impact of Joy of Happiness Week. The Foundation Fortnight
marks a vibrant chapter of collective joy, unity, and purpose—reaffirming HMV’s
dedication to nurturing hearts and minds through meaningful education and
service. Principal Dr. Ajay Sareen congratulated DAVCMC President Padamshree Dr. Punam Suri, Director Higher
Education Sh. Shiv Raman Gaur, LAC Chairman Justice (Retd.) N.K. Sud, teaching
and Non-teaching staff members on this occasion of Foundation Day Fortnight
Celebrations.
