The PG Department of Cosmetology of Hans Raj
Mahila Maha Vidyalaya organized one-day workshop on "Hair Colouring
and Lightening," conducted by Mr. Rahul from
Hizziz Unisex Salon and Academy. The
workshop provided attendees
with valuable insights into the techniques of hair colouring, including an in-depth understanding of hair levels and the products used. Mr. Rahul demonstrated the hair colouring and lightening processes, highlighting both the advantages
and potential
drawbacks. He also explained the chemical reactions that occur during the treatment and how artificial colors are
deposited in
the hair. The
workshop was inaugurated by Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen welcomed the guest speaker and encouraged the
continuation of such informative sessions in the
future. The event was also attended by the
Head of Department, Mukti Arora, along with faculty members Ms. Navjot Kaur, Ms. Manmeet Kaur, Ms. Manveer Kaur, and Ms. Gursimar Kaur, Assistant Professors in the Cosmetology Department.
