Filling the
atmosphere with verve and vibes and students flaunting best of their attires,
the Freshers’ Party khusamdeed was organized at HMV Collegiate Sr Sec. School to welcome the new entrants of
SSC 1 under the visionary guidance of Principal Prof. Dr ( Mrs.) Ajay Sareen.
The event was coordinated by Dr Seema Marwaha, Dean Academics & School
coordinator, Mrs Arvinder Kaur, School Co- Coordinator, Dr Urvashi Mishra, Dean
Student Council. The programme began on a pious note with DAV Gaan and lighting
the lamp of knowledge. Principal madam was welcomed with a green planter by the
coordinators of the event. The exuberant students put up a splendid show with
their songs, dances, guitars and ramp walk
in the modelling rounds. The judges of the event were Dr Navroop Kaur,
Dean Youth Welfare & Head, Punjabi Department, Mrs Meenu Kohli, Head PG Department of Commerce and Management, Dr
Sandeep, Assistant Professor in Punjabi, Dr Deepali, Assistant professor in
Mathematics . Conveying her best wishes on the occasion, Principal Prof. Dr.
(Mrs.) Ajay Sareen congratulated the students on joining the illustrious
institution which has been reaccredited with A++ grade and highest score
nationwide in the third cycle of NAAC. She stated that HMV aims to make its
students globally competent, empowered and good humans by leading them towards
excellence in academics as well as inculcating values and ethics in them.
HMVians bear the stamp of a good number of qualities which give them an edge
above others. She wished them best of health and luck for success in their
lives. Towards the conclusion, the names of the tag winners were announced. Ms.

Fairy by Harshita , Ms. Biz Girl by
Rose, Ms Fresher Second Runner up by
Ashika , Ms Fresher First Runner Up by
Tavleen and Ms. Fresher HMV Collegiate Tag was won by Sushma. Principal
Dr. Ajay Sareen and the organizers congratulated and crowned the winners. The
event was co- coordinated by Mrs Renu Walia and Mrs. Anuradha Thakur. The vote of thanks was presented by Mrs
Anuradha Thakur. The stage was conducted
by students of students council under the supervision of Ms Rashmi Sethi and Ms
Sukriti Sharma.
