Sakshi
Badola student of MA (JMC) Sem III of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya won 1st
prize in Radio Feature Competition organized by Pushpa Gujral Science City,
Kapurthala. Around 20 students of PG Department of Mass Communication and Video
Production also participated in a seminar on “AI in Journalism” Asstt. Prof.
Ms. Gaytri accompanied them. The objective of this seminar was to tell the
students about the role of Artificial Intelligence in Journalism. Principal Prof.
Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen congratulated Sakshi Badola for achievement. She told
that Sakshi was honoured with trophy, certificate and a cash prize of Rs.
3000/-. Dr. Rama Sharma, Head of Department apprised that the topic of
competition was “Impact and Challenges of Climate Change.” The duration of
Radio feature was 3-4 minutes. She won this prize for the 2nd time
consecutively. Many Colleges and Universities of Punjab participated in the
competition and feature by Sakshi Badola was adjudged the best. On this
occasion, Asstt. Prof. Mrs. Jyoti Sehgal and Ms. Gaytri also congratulated
Sakshi.
