NSS Unit of HMV commemorated 150 years of National Song

 

The NSS Unit of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya commemorated 150 years of National Song “Vande Matram” written by Bankim Chandra Chatterjee. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ekta Khosla inspired the volunteers of NSS.  She highlighted the message of unity, devotion and patriotism given by this song. A moss singing of Vande Matram was held by the volunteers. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ekta Khosla said that Vande Matram is like a mantra, spiritual dedication to mother India. Dr. Jyoti Gogia and Ms. Harmanu, NSS Incharge also motivated the students to uphold the spirit of national pride and cultural unity embodied in the song.
