School organized
interactive session on Moral Values under
the able guidance of Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. Renowned personality of International repute
Sh. Ajaib Singh Chatha, Chairman World Punjabi Congress from Toronto, Canada
graced the occasion along with his wife Mrs. Balwinder Kaur Chatha. Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen and
Coordinator Mrs. Meenakshi Syal accorded floral welcome to the guests. Chief Guest and main speaker Sh. Chatha
explained the students about need of moral values in daily life in very simple
and interesting manner by giving live examples.
He enlightened the students referring to good virtues such as honesty,
integrity, truthfulness, compassion, respectfulness, hard work etc. He emphasized the need of teaching of moral
values to be a part of curriculum. With
his great efforts along with team members, three books on moral values have
been published. He is doing lot of work
on moral values in India
for students of schools and colleges.
Principal Dr. Sareen imparted the knowledge about importance of moral
values in life with which one can distinguish between good and bad. She inspired the students to imbibe these
values so as to be good citizens of India. Coordinator Mrs. Syal asked the faculty to
teach moral values during their class teaching.
Students interacted enthusiastically with great speaker. Stage was conducted by Mrs. Sangeeta from
Punjabi department. Mrs. Navroop,
Associate Prof. in Punjabi and Dean Youth Welfare department told the students
about contents of books published and commitment of Sh. Chatha for spreading
the message of moral values. All the
faculty members of school were also present.
ਐਚ.ਐਮ.ਵੀ ਕਾੱਲਜਿਏਟ ਸੀ. ਸੈ. ਸਕੂਲ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਪੋ. ਡਾ. ਸੀਮਤੀ ਅਜੈ ਸਰੀਨ ਦੇ ਨਿਰੱਖਣ 'ਚ ਨੈਤਿਕ ਮੁੱਲਾਂ ਤੇ ਇੰਟਰਏਕਟਿਵ ਸੈਸ਼ਨ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਖਿਆਤੀ ਪਾਪਤ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਤੱਵ ਸੀ ਅਜਾਇਬ ਸਿੰਘ ਚੱਠਾ, ਚੇਅਰਮੈਨ ਵਰਲਡ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ, ਟੋਰੰਟੋ, ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਆਪਣੀ ਧਰਮਪਤਨੀ ਸੀਮਤੀ ਬਲਵਿੰਦਰ ਕੌਰ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਬਤੌਰ ਮੁਖ ਮਹਿਮਾਨ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ। ਪਿੰ. ਡਾ. ਸਰੀਨ ਅਤੇ ਕੋਆਰਡੀਨੇਟਰ ਮੀਨਾਕਸ਼ੀ ਸਿਆਲ ਨੇ ਮਹਿਮਾਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਫੁੱਲਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸੁਆਗਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਸੀ ਚੱਠਾ ਨੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰਬਹੁਤ ਆਸਾਨ ਤਰੀਕੇ ਨਾਲ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ 'ਚ ਨੈਤਿਕ ਮੁੱਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਹੱਤਤਾ ਦੱਸੀ। ਉਨ•ਾਂ ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਤੇ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਕਿ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ 'ਚ ਇਮਾਨਦਾਰੀ, ਅਖੰਡਤਾ, ਸੱਚਾਈ, ਦਯਾ ਅਤੇ ਕਠਿਨ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਵਰਗੇ ਗੁਣ ਅਪਨਾਉਣੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਨ•ਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਨੈਤਿਕ ਮੁੱਲਾਂ ਨੂੰਪਾਠ´ਮ ਦਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਵੀ ਬਣਾ ਦੇਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ•ਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਹਾਨ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ਾਂ ਤੇ ਟੀਮ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਨਾਲ ਨੈਤਿਕ ਮੁੱਲਾਂ ਤੇ ਤਿੰਨ ਕਿਤਾਬਾਂ ਪਕਾਸ਼ਿਤ ਹੋ ਚੁੱਕੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਸਕੁਲਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਲਜਾਂ ਦੇ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਤੇ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ੀ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਨੈਤਿਕ ਮੁੱਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਖੇਤਰ 'ਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਕੰਮ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਪਸ਼ੰਸਨਾਤਮਕ ਹੈ।
ਪਿੰ. ਡਾ. ਸਰੀਨ ਨੇ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ 'ਚ ਨੈਤਿਕ ਮੁੱਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਹੱਤਤਾ ਤੇ ਗੱਲ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਨੈਤਿਕ ਮੁੱਲ ਹੀ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਸਾਨੂੰਚੰਗੇ ਤੇ ਬੁਰੇ 'ਚ ਅੰਤਰ ਕਰਨਾ ਸਿਖਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਨ•ਾਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰਇਨ•ਾਂ ਮੁੱਲਾਂ ਨੂੰਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ 'ਚ ਅਪਨਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਪੇਰਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਤਾਂਕਿ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਚੰਗੇ ਨਾਗਰਿਕ ਬਣ ਸਕਨ। ਸੀਮਤੀ ਸਿਆਲ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਨੂੰਵੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਕਲਾਸ 'ਚ ਕੁਝ ਸਮੇਂ ਨੈਤਿਕ ਮੁੱਲਾਂ ਨੂੰਦੇਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਮੁੱਖ ਮਹਿਮਾਨ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਕੀਤੀ। ਮੰਚ ਸੰਚਾਲਨ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਤੋਂ ਸੰਗੀਤਾ ਨੇ ਕੀਤੀ। ਡੀਨ ਯੂਥ ਵੈਲਫੇਅਰ ਸੀਮਤੀ ਨਵਰੂਪ ਨੇ ਪਕਾਸ਼ਿਤ ਕਿਤਾਬਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਾਰੇ 'ਚ ਗਲ ਕੀਤੀ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਸਕੂਨ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਅਧਿਆਪਕ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ।
