A little lilting music, new faces, smiles all along,
resounding laughter – yes, all these feelings have been amalgamated in the
Ragini Auditorium of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya on the event of Aagaz 2019,
Freshers Party for PG Classes under the dynamic directions of Principal Prof.
Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. The programme was garnished with cherry on a cake when
joined with the celebration of Teachers' Day as well. The entire programme was
artistically and beautifully conducted with the guidelines of Mrs. Mamta,
Incharge of the event and the Co-incharge Mrs. Veena Arora, Ms. Gurmeet Singh
and Mr. Pardeep Mehta.
The programme was commenced with the lightening of the
lamp by the Principal Madam which was followed by DAV Gaan, as per the
tradition of HMV Family. Green Welcome was given to the inspiring lady Madam
Dr. Ajay Sareen by the Incharges of the event. The responsibility of judging
the burst of talent was on the shoulders of Dr. Anjana Bhatia, Mrs. Sangeeta
Arora and Mrs. Meenu Kohli.
In her warm address to the students the Principal
Madam heartily welcomed all the young learners and inspired them to be the
believer of their own selves. She focussed on the self-introspection which
instills in us the confidence to choose what is right and what is wrong. She
unfolds the glorious past of HMV which was inaugrated by Dr. Sarvappli
Radhakrishna whose brilliancy we celebrate as Teachers' Day. Madam Principal
conveyed her best wishes to all the faculty members on behalf of PadamShri Dr.
Poonam Suri and Local DAV Managing Committee. She showered her enlightened
blessings on all and wishing all the faculty members members a very happy
Teachers' Day and gratitude to all the non-teaching staff.
The JMC Deptt. presented specially prepared wonderful
PPT to mark the glorious efforts of all the teachers which added radiancy to
the event. The stage was phenomenally conducted by the students Muskaan Virdi,
Prabhsimran, ,Parneet and Jasleen. The event was coming to an end with the crowning
of Wonder girls Ms. Fresher – Karishma Sharma, Ist Runner Up – Ranchana, 2nd
Runner up – Manpreet, In the Junior Category , Simran Kakkar Won the title of
Ms. Stylish, Ms. Ethnic Paromita Biswas, Miss Charismatic- Pallavi, In the
senior category Roopmeet Kaur, Megha, Surbhi respectively won the title of Ms.
Stylish, Ms. Ethnic, Ms. Charismatic. The special prize was given to
Prabhsimran Kaur. To conclude the event. Ms. Gurkerrat Kaur gave the vote of
thanks followed by recital of National Anthem.
