Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya celebrated Basant
Panchami with Saraswati Pujan and Kite Flying organized by Student Council and
Youth Welfare Department of the college under the worthy guidance of Principal
Prof. Dr. Mrs. Ajay Sareen. All the members of the teaching and non-teaching
staff along with Principal performed Saraswati Pujan. Km. Ridhima performed
Saraswati Vandana. On this occasion, students of Student Council prepared and
distributed the Prasadam (sweet yellow rice) to all the staff members and
students. Principal, teachers and students were wearing yellow clothes and
offered prayers to Maa Saraswati. Principal Dr. Sareen said that the student
council has organized this Pujan as per the Indian traditions. Saraswati is the
goddess of art and wisdom. We are worshipping her and seeking her blessings for
future endeavors. On this occasion, Dean Academics Dr. Kanwaldeep Kaur, Dean
Examinations Dr. Ekta Khosla, Dean Youth Welfare Mrs. Navroop Kaur, Dean
student council Mrs. Urvashi Mishra, all other deans and staff members were
present. Stage was conducted by Mrs. Kuljit Kaur.
