The vivacious members of Innovation
Council, HMV attended the virtual live session of the AIM-AICTE Collaboration
for ATLs and IICs under the dynamic guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay
Sareen organized on the occasion of 130th birth anniversary of Dr. B.R.
Ambedkar.
The session began with a welcome note from
Mr. R. Ramanan, Mission Director, ATL Innovation Mission. He gave his greetings
and wishes for the Ambedkar Jayanti and ATL Community Day. Dr. Anil, Chairman, All India Council for
Technical Education, gave a comprehensive view of the outcomes
of the collaboration and the significance of the IIC initiative giving
practical suggestions. He briefed about the implications of linkages between
institutions and National Education policy.
The motive of the organization is to take research to the next level. He
emphasized on the appreciation of the past and moving towards innovation. Dr. Abhay Jere, Chief Innovation
Officer, Ministry of Education, Govt. of India stressed upon the need of a
systematic programme inclusive of all the things related to innovation. He
provided an insight into the challenges as well as opportunities to develop an
innovation ecosystem. There is an immediate requirement to establish and
stabilize innovation systems in all the education institutions so that we can
build up a generation next of innovative youth leaders. The journey of putting
the innovative measures into practice is undoubtedly a complex one from
locating the problems around, finding solutions and coming up with innovative
ideas. In order to get maximum benefits, there is a need to monitor the outcome
of activities and their impact. It proved to be a fruitful session for HMV IIC
comprising of Dr. Anjana Bhatia, Incharge IIC, Lt. Sonia Mahendru, Dr. Rakhi
Mehta, Mrs. Alka, Mrs. Lovleen, Mrs. Navneeta, Dr. Meenakshi Duggal Mehta, Mrs.
Protima Mander, Dr. Jaspreet, Ms. Harpreet, Dr. Simmi, Mr. Ashish Chadha, Mr.
Vidhu Vohra and Mr. Rishabh Dhir.
