HMV celebrated Wildlife Week from 2nd to 8th October, 2021
organised by
Department of Zoology, under the able guidance of
Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Mrs. Ajay Sareen. On 5th October, video of virtual
trip to Nehru Zoological Park, Hyderabad was shown to science students. On 6th,7th
and 8th October, quotes on wild life were displayed by students of B.Sc
Medical/Biotechnology and certificates were given to winners. Power point
presentations were also made by students on the theme Conservation of wild life and Biodiversity. Dr. Seema Marwaha, Head
of Zoology Department, talked about objective of celebration of Wild life week
and encouraged the students to spread awareness about importance
and need of conservation of wild life. Dr Neelam Sharma, Head Chemistry Department
and Mrs. Saloni Sharma, Head Physics Department were the judges for quote
competition on wild life conservation, while Dr. Shaveta Chauhan and Mrs. Purnima
judged the Power point presentations. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen
congratulated the winners and appreciated the efforts of participants and
Zoology Department for organising such awareness programmes always. The
one week event was conducted by the collaborative efforts of all
science students of the college under the supervision Mr. Ravi Kumar from
Zoology Department and Mr. Sachin Kumar, The weeklong celebrations ended with
vote of thanks from Dr. Seema Marwaha,Head Zoology Department.
