HMV Collegiate School Organized Talent Hunt- Pratibha Khoj-2022

 






Giving wind to the wings of the young talent, HMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School, Jalandhar organised Talent Hunt Competition Pratibha Khoj 2022. Students of SSC-I and SSC-II utilized this opportunity enthusiastically and showcased their talent pertaining to multiple facets ranging from Declamation Contest, Poem recitation, Sound of Music, Poster and Collage Making Contest, Dance, Mehndi, Art & Rangoli Competition to Quiz Contest. The Chief Guest of the event was Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen.  School Coordinator Mrs. Meenakshi Sayal welcomed the esteemed Chief Guest with a planter and the painting prepared by the students. The event was commenced with lamp lighting followed by DAV Gaan.  The dynamic force behind this event Principal Dr. Ajay Sareen expressed her immense pleasure to watch the wonderful performances of the students. She apprised that DAV College Managing Committee always believes on Vedic Values with modernity and this talent hunt Pratibha Khoj 2022 is totally exemplify this belief system. The aim of organizing such events is to make the students not only academically brilliant but creative thinkers too and this is what HMV stands for to provide life skills to the students so that by the virtue of them they can tackle real life situations effectively and become real Arya Yuvtiya who know how to use every ounce of their potential. The students showcased their talent with full zeal and zest. The declamation contest as well as Poem Recitation was adjudged by Dr. Meenu Talwar and Mr. Parminder Singh in which the students eloquently expressed their oratory skills on the relevant topics of ‘Growth of Robotics', ‘Role of Government to tackle the problem of Global Warming’, ‘Impact of Social Media on Youngsters', ‘Post Covid World' and in poem recitation they recited poems spontaneously. In declamation contest, Jahnavi SSC 2 Arts bagged first position, Bhuvnesh-SSC-2  Medical got second position and Khushi SSC 1 Med bagged third position. In poem recitation, Palak of SSC 2 Arts, Kashish of SSC 2 Arts, Jahnavi of SSC 2 Arts secured first, second and third positions respectively. Mrs. Ritika from Punjab University, Patiala and Mrs. Ritika from Satyug Darshan Sangeet Kala Kendra were the judges of Dance Competition in which Mansi, Pahulpreet Kaur Bedi, Kajal secured the first, second and third position in Solo Dance Performances. Manvi Bhardwaj and Radhika Chauhan received consolation prizes. In Group Dance, Bhangra licious group stood first, Punjaban Kudiyan got second, Punjabi Muteyara attained the third position. The consolation prize was given to Power Grooves.  The Singing Contest was adjudged by Mr. Sehajpreet Singh, Head of Music Department Swami Sant Dass Public School. In Bollywood Songs category, Angel, Manisha and Arshiya secured first, second and third positions respectively. In Folk Songs category, Madhu grabbed first, Yogita secured second and Ritu stood at the third position. In Duet song category, Sandeep and Angel bagged the first position, and Riya and Yogita secured the second position. The special prize was given to Muskaan for her devotional singing. The Ad Mad Show (Ad making Competition) was adjudged by Mrs. Ritika in which Pushpa Shampoo got first position, Choco Chips attained the second position, Pet Safa received the third prize. The consolation prize was given to Black Beauty. The keen and artistic judgement in  Rangoli Making Competition, Poster Making, Collage Making, Best Out of Waste and Mehandi Competition was given by Dr. Neeru Bharti and Mr. Ankush Atthi. In Rangoli Competition, Simran and Navneet secured first, Bhoomika and Zeenat and Karishma and Liza jointly secured second, and Arshpreet and Amrita secured third position. In poster making competition, Japreet, Alvis and Zeenat, Chhavi, and Komal Banga secured first, second, third and forth positions respectively. Manmet stood first and Muskaan stood second in collage making competition. Sehajpreet attained first and Moully Verma grabbed second position in Best out of Waste contest. In Mehandi competition, Sakshi attained first position, Liza and Deepti Sharma jointly secured second position and in the third position stood Shafreen, Neha and Davinderjeet. In Mind Blogger (Quiz Competition) Sukhpreet Kaur achieved first position and Palak secured the second position. School Coordinator congratulated all the participants and apprised that these co-curricular activities assist the students to inculcate in them artistic qualities, sound communication skills and confidence so that they can become adaptable and productive human beings. She expressed her heartiest thanks to all the judges. The stage was conducted by Ms. Rashmi Sethi.
