Installation
Ceremony of the Student Council was enthusiastically organized at Hans Raj
Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar under the able guidance of Principal Prof. Dr.
(Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. The ceremony commenced with the DAV Gaan, followed by the
formal welcome of the Principal and the Chief Guests, the former Head girl
Ishpreet Kaur and Joint Head girl Anisha by the members of Student Council, led
by Dr. Urvashi Mishra, Dean Student Council. Principal Dr. Ajay Sareen
addressed the gathering, extending heartfelt congratulations to the students
for being entrusted with the prestigious positions. While congratulating the
badge recipients, Dr. Sareen also commended the former head girls for their
contributions. She stressed upon the institution’s commitment to nurturing
leadership qualities and character development. By wishing the students to
inculcate qualities like determination, compassion, and strength, she also
underscored their role as ambassadors of the institution, representing its
ethos to the wider world. Former Head
Girl, Ishpreet inspired the students to aim for great heights in life, emphasizing
that the first step toward success is setting clear and focused goals. By
having a strong sense of direction, students can channel their energy and
efforts towards achieving their aspirations and realizing their full potential.
Around 250 students were present in the ceremony. Sakshi Vaid was formally
declared the UG Head Girl while Diksha was declared as PG Head Girl and Drishti
Katyal was declared Head of HMV Task Force . The badges were given to Joint
Head Girl , Assistant Head Girl UG PG, members of Task Force and Office Bearers
of 51 societies. IQAC coordinator Dr. Ashmeen, Faculty heads Dr. Navroop, Mrs.
Deepshikha, Mrs. Meenu Kohli, Dr. Sangeeta Arora, Dr. Rakhi were present there.
The ceremony ended with the vote of thanks by Dr. Urvashi Mishra.
