The foundation stone of Mahatma Anand Swami Block for
Performing Arts at Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya was laid. The foundation stone was laid by Justice Sh.
N.K. Sud, Vice President DAV College Managing Committee, New Delhi with
chanting of Ved Mantras. Principal Dr.
(Mrs.) Ajay Sareen said that this Performing Arts Deptt. is an excellent
platform for the students of Music Vocal, Music Instrumental as well as
Dance. The aim of the construction of
this block is to highlight the skills of the students and to provide them
professional training in this field. In
the said block, Music Studio and Music Library will also be available to
provide Audio Visual aids and technological knowledge of performing arts to the
students.
On this occasion, Staff Secretary Dr. Jyoti Mittu, Head
Music Inst. Deptt. Dr. Prem Sagar, all Deans and members of the teaching and
non-teaching staff were also participated in laying foundation stone of this block.
