The Multimedia department of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya organized Media
Fest ‘Prix Mosaic 2016’ in the campus.
The chief guest of the inaugural session was Dr. Gurvinder Singh, Dean
Faculty of Engg., GNDU Amritsar. DAV
Gaan was sang by the students. Principal
Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen welcomed the chief guest with bouquet of
flowers. She said that whatever you
learn apart from academics gives an extra bounce to your career. With practical knowledge, nation’s dream of
skilled India will become true. She said
that Indians have wonderful brains but we are bagging behind in global
scenario. The need of the hour is the
innovators.
Chief Guest Dr.
Gurvinder Singh, Dean Faculty of Engg. Addressed the students and said that
good teachers grow the confidence level of the students. He said that if you really possess the right
skill, there is hardly any competition.
Real knowledge is when you connect to the real world. Dr. Gurvinder Singh declared the Media Fest
open. Head of Multimedia department Mr.
Jagjit Bhatia gave an introduction of the fest.
He said that students learn with practical knowledge. In the Media Fest, 7 competitions were held
which included Photography, Documentary, Cartooning, IT Quiz, Caricature Poster
Making and Caption Writing. More than
250 students from 6 colleges and 7 schools participated in the Media Fest.
In the
valedictory session, prizes were given to the winning students. The chief guest of the occasion was Dr. K.K.
Rattu, Director Media Studies, DAV University.
He appreciated the efforts of Multimedia department and encouraged the
students to participate in such events with more enthusiasm. In Photography competition, in college
category, HMV got first, GNDU College got second and HMV got third prize. In school category, Police DAV won first
prize and second prize and MGN Public School won third prize. In documentary, in school category, Police
DAV got first and MGN got second prize.
In college category SD College for women won first prize and HMV won
second and third prize. In Poster making
school category, Dayanand Model School got first prize, Police DAV got second
prize and Dayanand Model School got third prize. In college category, HMV got first and second
prize and DAV University got third prize.
In caption writing school category, MGN school got first prize, DMS got
second prize and MGN got third prize. In
college category, DAV University got first prize and HMV got second prize. In caricature, school category, DMS got first
prize, Police DAV got second and DMS got third prize. In college category, HMV got first, second
and third prize. In cartooning, school
category, Police DAV got first, MGN Public School got second and meritorious
school got third prize. In college
category, Apeejay College got first and second prize. Stage was conducted by Dr. Anjana
Bhatia. On this occasion, Head of Comp.Sc.
Dr. Sangeeta Arora, members of organizing committee Mr. Ashish, Ms. Harleen and
Ms. Anjali were also present.
ਹੰਸ ਰਾਜ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਮਹਾ ਵਿਦਿਆਲਾ, ਜਲੰਧਰ ਦੇ ਮਲਟੀਮੀਡਿਆ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਮੀਡਿਆ ਫੈਸਟ ਪ੍ਰਿਕਸ ਮੋਜ਼ੀੲੈਕ-2016 ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਫੈਸਟ ਦੇ ਉਦਘਾਟਨੀ ਸਮਾਰੋਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੀਐਨਡੀਯੂ ਅਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਦੇ ਡੀਨ ਫੈਕਲਟੀ ਆੱਫ ਇੰਜੀਨੀਯਰਿੰਗ ਡਾ. ਗੁਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਤੌਰ ਮੁੱਖ ਮਹਿਮਾਨ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ। ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਦਾ ਸ਼ੁਭਾਰੰਭ ਡੀ.ਏ.ਵੀ ਗਾਨ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੋਇਆ। ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਅਜੇ ਸਰੀਨ ਨੇ ਫੁੱਲਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਮੁੱਖ ਮਹਿਮਾਨ ਦਾ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੜਾਈ ਦੇ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਅਸੀ ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ਸਿਖਦੇ ਹਾਂ, ਉਹ ਹੀ ਸਾਡੇ ਕਰਿਅਰ ਨੂੰ ਉਚਾਈ ਤੱਕ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਜਾਉਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਹਾਇਕ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਪ੍ਰੈਕਟੀਕਲ ਜਾਨਕਾਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਭਾਰਤ ਦਾ ਸਕਿਲ ਇੰਡੀਆ ਦਾ ਸਪਨਾ ਪੂਰਾ ਹੋ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਭਾਰਤੀਯ ਦਿਮਾਗ ਅਦਭੁਤ ਹੈ ਪਰੰਤੂ ਫਿਰ ਵੀ ਅਸੀ ਕੀਤੇ ਨ ਕੀਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਪਟਲ ਤੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਨਵੀਂ ਸੋਚ ਵਾਲੇ ਲੋਕ ਹੀ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਹਨ।
ਮੁੱਖ ਮਹਿਮਾਨ ਡਾ. ਗੁਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਬੋਧਿਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਚੰਗੇ ਅਧਿਆਪਕ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਆਤਮਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਜੇਕਰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਸਹੀ ਕਲਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਯੋਗਿਤਾ ਮਾਯਨੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਰੱਖਦੀ। ਵਾਸਤਵਿਕ ਗਿਆਨ ਉਹ ਹੈ ਜਦੋਂ ਤੁਸੀ ਦੁਨਿਆ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਖੜੇ ਹੋ ਪਾਉਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਮਰਥ ਹੋਣ। ਡਾ. ਗੁਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਮੀਡਿਆ ਫੈਸਟ ਨੂੰ ਅੋਪਨ ਘੋਸ਼ਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ।
ਮਲਟੀਮੀਡਿਆ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੀ ਮੁੱਖੀ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਜਗਜੀਤ ਭਾਟਿਆ ਨੇ ਫੈਸਟ ਦੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਨਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪ੍ਰੈਕਟੀਕਲ ਗਿਆਨ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਸਿਖਦੇ ਹਨ। ਮੀਡਿਆ ਫੈਸਟ ਵਿੱਚ 7 ਪ੍ਰਤਿਯੋਗਿਤਾਵਾਂ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਗਈਆਂ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਫੋਟੋਗ੍ਰਾਫੀ, ਡਾਕਯੂਮੇਂਟਰੀ, ਕਾਰਟੂਨਿੰਗ, ਆਈ.ਟੀ. ਕਵਿਜ, ਕੈਰੀਕੇਚਰ, ਪੋਸਟਰ ਮੇਕਿੰਗ ਅਤੇ ਕੈਪਸ਼ਨ ਰਾਇਟਿੰਗ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਸਨ। 6 ਕਾਲਜਾਂ ਅਤੇ 7 ਸਕੁਲਾਂ ਦੇ 250 ਤੋਂ ਜਿਆਦਾ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਗ ਲਿਆ।
ਸਮਾਪਨ ਸਮਾਰੋਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਡੀ.ਏ.ਵੀ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਦੇ ਮੀਡਿਆ ਸਟਡੀਜ਼ ਦੇ ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ ਡਾ. ਕੇ.ਕੇ. ਰੱਤੂ ਬਤੌਰ ਮੁੱਖ ਮਹਿਮਾਨ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਮਲਟੀਮੀਡਿਆ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ੰਸਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੌਰ ਜਿਆਦਾ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਭਾਗ ਲੈਣ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਫੋਟੋਗ੍ਰਾਫੀ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਯੋਗਿਤਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਕੂਲ ਕੈਟੇਗਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਐਚ.ਐਮ.ਵੀ ਪਹਿਲੇ, ਜੀਐਨਡੀਯੂ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੂਜੇ, ਐਚ.ਐਮ.ਵੀ ਤੀਜੇ ਸਥਾਨ ਤੇ ਰਿਹਾ। ਡਾਕਯੂਮੈਂਟਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਕੂਲ ਕੈਟੇਗਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਡੀ.ਏ.ਵੀ ਪਹਿਲੇ, ਐਮ.ਜੀ.ਐਨ ਸਕੂਲ ਦੂਜੇ ਸਥਾਨ ਤੇ ਰਿਹਾ। ਕਾਲਜ ਕੈਟੇਗਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਐਸ.ਡੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਪਹਿਲੇ, ਐਚ.ਐਮ.ਵੀ ਦੂਜੇ ਅਤੇ ਦੂਜੇ ਸਥਾਨ ਤੇ ਰਿਹਾ। ਪੋਸਟਰ ਮੇਕਿੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਕੂਲ ਕੈਟੇਗਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਡੀ.ਐਮ.ਐਸ ਪਹਿਲੇ, ਪੁਲਿਸ ਡੀ.ਏ.ਵੀ ਦੂਜੇ ਅਤੇ ਡੀ.ਐਮ.ਐਸ ਤੀਜੇ ਸਥਾਨ ਤੇ ਰਿਹਾ। ਕਾਲਜ ਕੈਟੇਗਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਐਚ.ਐਮ.ਵੀ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਤੇ ਦੂਜੇ ਅਤੇ ਡੀਏਵੀ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਤੀਜੇ ਸਥਾਨ ਤੇ ਰਹੀ। ਕੈਪਸ਼ਨ ਰਾਈਟਿੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਕੂਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਐਮ.ਜੀ.ਐਨ ਪਹਿਲੇ, ਡੀ.ਐਮ.ਐਸ ਦੂਜੇ ਅਤੇ ਐਮ.ਜੀ.ਐਨ ਤੀਜੇ ਸਥਾਨ ਤੇ ਰਿਹਾ। ਕਾਲਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਡੀ.ਏ.ਵੀ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਐਚ.ਐਮ.ਵੀ ਦੂਜੇ ਸਥਾਨ ਤੇ ਰਿਹਾ। ਕੈਰੀਕੇਚਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਕੂਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਡੀ.ਐਮ.ਐਸ ਪਹਿਲੇ, ਪੁਲਿਸ ਡੀ.ਏ.ਵੀ ਦੂਜ਼ੇ ਅਤੇ ਡੀ.ਐਮ.ਐਸ ਤੀਜੇ ਸਥਾਨ ਤੇ ਰਿਹਾ। ਕਾਲਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਹਿਲਾ, ਦੂਜਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੀਜਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਐਚ.ਐਮ.ਵੀ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਿਆ। ਕਾਰਟੂਨਿੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਲਜ ਪੱਧਰ ਤੇ ਏ.ਪੀ.ਜੇ ਨੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਦੂਜੇ ਇਨਾਮ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤੇ। ਸਕੂਲ ਪੱਧਰ ਤੇ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਡੀ.ਏ.ਵੀ ਪਹਿਲੇ, ਐਮ.ਜੀ.ਐਨ ਦੂਜੇ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਰੀਟੋਰਿਯਸ ਸਕੂਲ ਤੀਜੇ ਸਥਾਨ ਤੇ ਰਿਹਾ। ਮੰਚ ਸੰਚਾਲਨ ਡਾ. ਅੰਜਨਾ ਭਾਟਿਆ ਨੇ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਕਪਿਊਟਰ ਸਾਇੰਸ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੀ ਮੁੱਖੀ ਡਾ. ਸੰਗੀਤਾ ਅਰੋੜਾ, ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਨ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਦੇ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਆਸ਼ੀਸ਼, ਹਰਲੀਨ ਅਤੇ ਅੰਜਲਿ ਵੀ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ।
