Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya is doing activities time to time under
Swachatta Abhiyaan. In the same chain,
HMV hostels organized competitions of Slogan Writing, Cleanliness and ambience
of the block under the able guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay
Sareen. Principal Dr. Sareen appreciated
the efforts of students and hostel wardens and emphasized the students to keep
their surroundings clean. She also said
that in order to be a perfect human being, we should also keep our minds clean
and free from jealousy. Hostel
Coordinator Mrs. Meenakshi Syal apprised the students by quoting that lit the
lamp of cleanliness to spread the light of godliness. 60 students participated in slogan writing
competition. Judgement was made by Dr.
Meena Sharma, HOD Botany, Dr. Anjana Bhatia, Dr. Shaveta Chauhan of Botany
Deptt. Different blocks of all the three
hostels Ojasvi, Pragati and Kirti were evaluated by judges. Judges appreciated the efforts and living style
of resident scholars by seeing the ambience of rooms. Shavneet of SSC I Arts got First position,
Kamaldeep of B.Com. II got Second position, Ayushi and Anmolpreet of B.Com. I
got Third position and Riya Sharma of B.Sc. Med. I got consolation prize. On this occasion, Mr. Amarjit Khanna, Office
Supdt., Mr. Pankaj Jyoti, Supdt. A/c Mr. Lakhwinder Singh, Hostel Supdt., Er.
Tarun Mahajan, Overseer and all wardens were also present.
ਸਫਾਈ ਅਭਿਆਨ ਦੇ ਅੰਤਰਗਤ ਹੰਸਰਾਜ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਮਹਾਵਿਦਿਆਲਾ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਵਿਭਿੰਨ ਗਤੀਵਿਧਿਆਂ ਕਰਵਾਈਆਂ ਜਾਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਲੜੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਐਚ.ਐਮ.ਵੀ. ਹੋਸਟਲ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਡਾ. ਸ਼੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਅਜੈ ਸਰੀਨ ਦੇ ਮਾਰਗਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਲੋਗਨ ਰਾਇਟਿੰਗ, ਸਫਾਈ ਅਤੇ ਬਲਾੱਕ ਦੀ ਸਾਫ-ਸਫਾਈ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਕਰਵਾਏ ਗਏੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਸਟਲ ਵਾਰਡਨਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ੰਸਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਦਾ ਵਾਤਾਵਰਨ ਸਾਫ਼ ਰੱਖਣ ਤੇ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇੱਕ ਸੰਪੂਰਨ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਬਣਨ ਲਈ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਫ਼ ਅਤੇ ਈਰਥਾ ਤੋਂ ਦੂਰ ਰੱਖਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਹਾੱਸਟਲ ਕੋਆਰਡੀਨੇਟਰ ਸ਼੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਮੀਨਾਕਸ਼ੀ ਸਿਆਲ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਚੰਗੀਆਈ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਸਫਾਈ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰ ਕਰਨਾ ਵੀ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਹੈ। ਸਲੋਗਨ ਰਾਇਟਿੰਗ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ 60 ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੇ ਭਾਗ ਲਿਆ। ਜੱਜਾਂ ਦੀ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਬੋਟਨੀ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੀ ਮੁਖੀ ਡਾ. ਮੀਨਾ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ, ਡਾ. ਅੰਜਨਾ ਭਾਟਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਡਾ. ਸ਼ਵੇਤਾ ਚੌਹਾਨ ਨੇ ਨਿਭਾਈ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਤਿੰਨਾਂ ਹੋਸਟਲਾਂ (ਓਜਸਵੀ, ਪ੍ਰਗਤੀ ਤੇ ਕੀਰਤੀ) ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਬਲਾਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਮੁਲਾਂਕਣ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਸਟਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਦੇ ਰਹਿਣ-ਸਹਿਣ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ੰਸਾ ਕੀਤੀ। 1 ਆਰਟਸ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਵਨੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਨੂੰ ਪਹਿਲਾ, ਬੀ.ਕਾੱਮ. ਦੀ ਕਮਲਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਨੂੰ ਦੂਜਾ ਅਤੇ ਆਯੂਸ਼ੀ ਤੇ ਅਨਮੋਲਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਨੂੰ ਤੀਜ਼ਾ ਇਨਾਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਬੀ.ਐਸ.ਸੀ ਮੈਡਿਕਲ ਦੀ ਰੀਆ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਂਤਵਨਾ ਇਨਾਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਆਫਿਸ ਸੁਪਰਿਟੇਂਡੇਟ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਅਮਰਜੀਤ ਖੰਨਾ, ਸੁਪਰਿਟੇਂਡੇਟ ਅਕਾਉਂਟਸ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਪੰਕਜ਼ ਜੋਤੀ, ਹੋਸਟਲ ਸੁਪਰਿਟੇਂਡੇਟ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਲਖਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ, ਅੋਵਰਸੀਅਰ ਤਰੂਣ ਤੇ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਹੋਸਟਲ ਵਾਰਡਨਾਂ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ।
