A
seminar on Traffic Rules was
organized by NSS Unit of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya to mark the NSS
Foundation Day Celebration. An awareness
drive in regards to traffic rules was carried out amongst the staff and
students of the college. The chief guest
of the occasion was Sh. Gautam Singal, PPS, ADCP – HQ, Security and Traffic
accompanied by Mr. Jaspreet Singh, ACP.
Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen extended a warm floral welcome to
the guests. Speaking on the occasion,
Sh. Gautam Singal stressed upon the need to wear helmets not just to avoid
police challan but also to avoid any risk of life. He further added that
helmets used should be of superior quality so that in case of injury, the
helmet should not break and cause havoc.
Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen assured that in coming times,
helmets would be made mandatory for every staff member or student coming to the
college on two wheeler. Dr. Sareen
further guided the students to take an oath that they would wear helmets while
riding a two wheeler. Shamsher Singh ASI
and Ramesh Kumar head constable also made the students aware about traffic
rules. Programme Officer Mrs. Veena
Arora motivated the students to keep safety first. Dr. Anjana Bhatia, Programme Officer NSS made
an appeal to students to take up road safety with a missionary zeal. On this occasion, hand sanitizers made from
Neem leaves by NSS volunteers were also distributed among the students and
staff. Ms. Harmanu was also present on
this occasion.
ਹੰਸ ਰਾਜ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਮਹਾਵਿਦਿਆਲਿਆ ਵਿਚ ਐਨਐਸਐਸ ਯੂਨਿਟ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਐਨਐਸਐਸ ਫਾਊਂਡੇਸ਼ਨ ਦਿਹਾੜੇ ਤੇ ਟੈਫਿਕ ਨਿਯਮਾਂ ਤੇ ਸੈਮੀਨਾਰ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਸਟਾਫ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਟੈਫਿਕ ਨਿਯਮਾਂ ਨੂੰਲੈ ਕੇ ਇਕ ਜਾਗਿਤੀ ਅਭਿਆਨ ਚਲਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਬਤੌਰ ਮੁੱਖ ਮਹਿਮਾਨ ਏਡੀਸੀਪੀ ਹੈਡਕਵਾਟਰ, ਸਿਕਯੋਰਿਟੀ ਏਂਡ ਟੈਫਿਕ ਗੌਤਮ ਸਿੰਘਲ, ਪੀਪੀਐਸ ਅਤੇ ਏਸੀਪੀ ਜਸਪੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ। ਪਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਪੋ. ਡਾ. ਸ਼ੀਮਤੀ ਅਜੈ ਸਰੀ ਨੇ ਫੁੱਲਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਉਨ•ਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਬੋਲਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਗੌਤਮ ਸਿੰਘਲ, ਪੀਪੀਐਸ ਨੇ ਹੈਲਮੇਟ ਪਾਉਣ ਤੇ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਿਰਫ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਚਲਾਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾਓ ਲਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਗੋਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਲਈ ਵੀ ਹੈਲਮੇਟ ਪਾਉਣਾ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਹੈ। ਉਨ•ਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਹੈਲਮੇਟ ਵਧੀਆ ਕਵਾਲਿਟੀ ਦਾ ਹੋਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂਕਿ ਦੁਰਘਟਨਾ ਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਇਹ ਟੂੱਟੇ ਨਾ। ਮੈਡਮ ਪਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਕਿ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਟੂ ਵਹੀਲਰ ਦੇ ਵਾਹਨ ਚਾਲਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਹੈਲਮੇਟ ਪਾ ਕੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਆਉਣਾ ਲਾਜ਼ਮੀ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਡਾ. ਸਰੀਨ ਨੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰਹੈਲਮੇਟ ਪਾ ਕੇ ਟੂ ਵਹੀਲਰ ਚਲਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਸੌਂਹ ਲੈਣ ਲਈ ਕਿਹਾ। ਏ.ਐਸ.ਆਈ. ਸ਼ਮਸ਼ੇਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਤੇ ਹੈਡ ਕਾਂਸਟੇਬਲ ਰਮੇਸ਼ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰਟੈਫਿਕ ਨਿਯਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਪੋਗਰਾਮ ਆਫਿਸਰ ਵੀਨਾ ਅਰੋੜਾ ਨੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਰਹਿਣ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਪੇਰਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਪੋਗਰਾਮ ਆਫਿਸਰ ਡਾ. ਅੰਜਨਾ ਭਾਟਿਆ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਕ ਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੀ ਤਰ•ਾਂ ਸੜਕ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਅਭਿਆਨ ਨੂੰਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਸਟਾਫ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਨੀਮ ਤੋਂ ਬਣੇ ਹੈਂਡ ਸੈਨੇਟਾਇਜ਼ਰ ਵੀ ਵੰਡੇ ਗਏ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰਐਨਐਸਐਸ ਵਾ¦ਟਿਅਰਜ਼ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਸੁਸੀ ਹਰਮਨੁ ਵੀ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸੀ।
