Night "Khush-Amdeed" for the welcome of new entrants in the
hostel. Principal Prof. Dr. Mrs. Ajay
Sareen was the Chief Guest of the occasion and Ms. Amrit & Ms. Rajwinder
Ex- Head Girls, were the guests of honour.
The programme starte with lighting of the lamp, signifying the light of
knowledge. Ms. Jaspreet Kaur, UG Head
Girl welcomed all the guests. Many dance
and song performances were presented by the hostel students, who are from
different parts of the country. Himachali Nati dance swayed everyone to its
tune. Modelling was judged by Mrs.
Ramnita Saini Sharda, Dean Innovative Practices, Mrs. Veena Arora, Co Dean
Youth Welfare, Dr. Anjana Bhatia and Mrs. Urvashi Mishra, Dean Students
Council, Vishakha was declared as Ms. Fresher, Nishtha was 1st
runner up & Shreya was 2nd runner up. The title of Ms. Charming was won by Akashman
and Shavneet won the title of Ms. Ethnic.
Ms. Amrit & Ms. Rajwinder Kaur, Ex Head Girls, shared
their experiences of hostel. Madam
Principal blessed the students & motivated them to work hard to achieve
their goals and also apprised the students to move ahead in life by ignoring
small things everytime at every place.
Programme Incahrge Mrs. Meenakshi Sayal, Hostel Coordinator motivated
the students and told them about various activities undertaken for the holistic
growth of young resident schlars. Ms. Gurpal, PG Head Girl gave vote of
thanks. On this occasion Dr. Seema
Marwaha, Mrs. Saloni Sharma, Mrs. Kranti Wadhwa, Office Supdt. Mr. Amarjit
Khanna, Hostel Supdt. Mr. Lakhwinder Singh and wardens were present.
ਹੰਸ ਰਾਜ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਮਹਾਵਿਦਿਆਲਿਆ ਦੇ ਹੋਸਟਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿ ਰਹੀ ਨਵੀਆਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਫ੍ਰੈਸ਼ਰ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਖੁਸ਼-ਆਮਦੀਦ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਅਵਸਰ ਤੇ ਬਤੌਰ ਮੁੱਖ ਮਹਿਮਾਨ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਡਾ. (ਸ੍ਰੀਮਤੀ) ਅਜੇ ਸਰੀਨ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ। ਕਾਲਜ ਦੀ ਪੂਰਵ ਹੈਡ ਗਰੱਲਸ ਅਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਜਵਿੰਦਰ ਕੌਰ ਵਿਸ਼ੇ ਮਹਿਮਾਨ ਦੇ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ। ਕਾਰਜਕਾਰਨੀ ਦਾ ਆਗਾਜ਼ ਦੀਪ ਪ੍ਰਜਵਲਨ ਤੋਂ ਹੋਇਆ। ਯੂ.ਜੀ. ਹੈਡ ਗਰੱਲ ਜਸਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਨੇ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਹੋਸਟਰ ਦੀ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਕਈ ਨਾਚ ਅਤੇ ਗਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ। ਇਹ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਵਿਭਿੰਨ ਭਾਗਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਆ ਕੇ ਐਚ.ਐਮ.ਵੀ. ਹੋਸਟਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿ ਕੇ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਗ੍ਰਹਿਣ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਹਿਮਾਚਲੀ ਨਾਟੀ ਨਾਚ ਨੇ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਮਨ ਮੋਹ ਲਿਆ। ਮੋਡਲਿੰਗ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਨਿਰਣਾਇਕ ਦੀ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਡੀਨ ਇਨੋਵੇਟਿਵ ਪ੍ਰੈਕਟੀਸ ਸ੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਰਮਨੀਤਾ ਸੈਨੀ ਸ਼ਾਰਦਾ, ਕੋ-ਡੀਨ ਯੂਥ ਵੈਲਫੇਅਰ ਸ੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਵੀਨਾ ਅਰੋੜਾ ਡਾ. ਅੰਜਨਾ ਭਾਟੀਆ ਅਤੇ ਡੀਨ ਸਟੂਡੈਂਟ ਕਾਉਂਸਿਲ ਸ੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਉਰਵਸ਼ੀ ਮਿਸ਼ਰਾ ਨੇ ਨਿਭਾਈ। ਵਿਸ਼ਾਖਾ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਸ ਫ੍ਰੈਸ਼ਰ ਘੋਸ਼ਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਨਿਸ਼ਠਾ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਰਨਰਸ ਅਪ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼੍ਰੇਆ ਦੂਜੇ ਰਨਰਸ ਅਪ ਰਹੀ। ਮਿਸ ਚਾਰਮਿੰਗ ਦਾ ਖਿਤਾਬ ਆਕਾਸ਼ਮਨ ਅਤੇ ਮਿਸ ਐਥਨਿਕ ਦਾ ਖਿਤਾਬ ਸ਼ਵਨੀਤ ਨੇ ਜੀਤਿਆ। ਪੂਰਵ ਹੈਡ ਗਰੱਲਸ ਅਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਜਵਿੰਦਰ ਕੌਰ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਹੋਸਟਲ ਦੀਆਂ ਯਾਦਾਂ ਤਾਜ਼ਾ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ। ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਡਾ. (ਸ੍ਰੀਮਤੀ) ਅਜੇ ਸਰੀਨ ਨੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਸੀਸ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਛੋਟੀ-ਛੋਟੀ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਜ਼ਰਅੰਦਾਜ਼ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਅੱਗੇ ਵੱਧਦੇ ਰਹਿਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਕਾਰਜਕਾਰਨੀ ਇੰਚਾਰਜ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਸਟਲ ਕੋ-ਆਰਡੀਨੇਟਰ ਸ੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਮੀਨਾਕਸ਼ੀ ਸਿਆਲ ਨੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਰਵਪੱਖੀ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਕੀ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੱਸਿਆ। ਪੀ.ਜੀ. ਹੈਡ ਗਰੱਲਜ਼ ਗੁਰਪਾਲ ਨੇ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਅਵਸਰ ਤੇ ਡਾ. ਸੀਮਾ ਮਰਵਾਹਾ, ਸ੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਸਲੋਨੀ, ਸ੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ´ਾਂਤੀ ਵਧਵਾ, ਆਫਿਸ ਸੁਪਰਿਡੈਂਟ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਮਰਜੀਤ ਖੰਨਾ, ਹੋਸਟਲ ਸੁਪਰਿਡੈਂਟ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਲੱਖਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਸਟਲ ਵਾਰਡਨ ਮੋਜੂਦ ਸਨ।
