The Fashion
Designing and Cosmetology departments of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya
organized Karwachauth Special
Exhibition-cum-competitions in the college premises. The students of Fashion Designing department
made beautiful Thali Sets, Thali Covers and jewellery items. Special stalls of Nail Art and Mehandi were
also there. The judges of the
competitions were Mrs. Neety Sood, HOD Home Sc. And Dr. Nidhi Kochhar, Asstt.
Prof. in Hindi. In Thali Making, Deepika
Thakur got first prize, Gagandeep
and Navjot got second prize and
Simran Sagoo and Lovely got third
prize. Consolation prize was given to
Gurpreet Kaur. In Thali Cover Making
competition, Karanpreet got first
prize. The Cosmetology department also
organized an Inter class competition of Mehandi, Nail Art and Hair
Styling. Total 150 students participated
in the competition. The judges were Mrs.
Neety Sood, HOD Home Sc., Miss Shama Sharma, HOD Fine Arts and Dr. Anjana
Bhatia, Deptt. of Botany. In Nail Art,
Rajbir Kaur got first prize, Chetna
got second prize and Parneet got third prize. In Hair Styling, Sukhmani got first, Diksha and Pooja got second prize and Khushboo and Anu got third prize. In Mehandi, Shubhdi and Diksha got first prize; Radhika and Sukhdeep got second and Kanvi and Vidhushi got third prize. On this occasion, Principal Prof. Dr.
ਹੰਸ ਰਾਜ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਮਹਾਵਿਦਿਆਲਿਆ ਦੇ ਫੈਸ਼ਨ ਡਿਜ਼ਾਇਨਿੰਗ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਸਮਟੋਲੋਜੀ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਵਲੋਂ ਕਰਵਾਚੌਥ ਸਪੈਸ਼ਲ ਐਗਜ਼ੀਬੀਸ਼ਨ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਯੋਗਿਤਾ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਫੈਸ਼ਨ ਡਿਜ਼ਾਇਨਿੰਗ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੀ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੇ ਖ਼ੁਬਸੂਰਤ ਥਾਲੀ ਸੈਟ, ਥਾਲੀ ਕਵਰ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਊਲਰੀ ਬਣਾਈਆਂ ਸਨ। ਨੇਲ ਆਰਟ ਅਤੇ ਮਹਿੰਦੀ ਦੇ ਵੀ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਸਟਾਲ ਲਗਾਏ ਗਏ ਸਨ। ਪ੍ਰਤੀਯੋਗਿਤਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਸ ਸਾਇੰਸ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖੀ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਨੀਤੀ ਸੁਦ ਅਤੇ ਹਿੰਦੀ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਤੋਂ ਡਾ. ਨਿਧੀ ਬਲ ਨੇ ਨਿਰਣਾਯਕ ਗਣ ਦੀ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਨਿਭਾਈ। ਥਾਲੀ ਮੇਕਿੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੀਪਿਕਾ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਪਹਿਲਾ, ਗਗਨਦੀਪ ਅਤੇ ਨਵਜੋਤ ਨੂੰ ਦੂਜਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਸੱਗੂ ਅਤੇ ਲਵਲੀ ਨੂੰ ਤੀਜਾ ਪੁਰਸਕਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਗੁਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਂਤਵਨਾ ਪੁਰਸਕਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਥਾਲੀ ਕਵਰ ਮੇਕਿੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਰਨਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਨੂੰ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਪੁਰਸਕਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ।
ਕਾਸਮਟੋਲੋਜੀ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਵਲੋਂ ਵੀ ਮਹਿੰਦੀ, ਨੇਲ ਆਰਟ ਅਤੇ ਹੇਅਰ ਸਟਾਇਲਿੰਗ ਦੀ ਇੰਟਰ ਕਲਾਸ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਯੋਗਿਤਾ ਕਰਵਾਈ ਗਈ। ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਗਭਗ 150 ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੇ ਭਾਗ ਲਿਆ। ਨਿਰਾਣਯਕ ਗਣ ਦੀ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਨੀਤੀ ਸੂਦ, ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਸ਼ਮਾ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਅਤੇ ਡਾ. ਅੰਜਨਾ ਭਾਟੀਆ ਨੇ ਨਿਭਾਈ। ਨੇਲ ਆਰਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਾਜਬੀਰ ਪਹਿਲੇ, ਚੇਤਨਾ ਦੂਜੇ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਨੀਤ ਤੀਜੀ ਸਥਾਨ ਤੇ ਰਹੀ। ਹੇਅਰ ਸਟਾਇਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁਖਮਨੀ ਪਹਿਲੇ, ਦੀਕਸ਼ਾ ਅਤੇ ਪੂਜਾ ਦੂਜੇ ਅਤੇ ਖੁਸ਼ਬੂ ਅਤੇ ਅਣੂ ਤੀਜੇ ਸਥਾਨ ਤੇ ਰਹੇ। ਮਹਿੰਦੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ੁਭਦੀ ਅਤੇ ਦੀਕਸ਼ਾ ਪਹਿਲੇ, ਰਾਧਿਕਾ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਖਦੀਪ ਦੂਜੇ, ਕਾਨਵੀ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਦੂਸ਼ੀ ਤੀਜੇ ਸਥਾਨ ਤੇ ਰਹੇ। ਇਸ ਅਵਸਰ ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਡਾ. ਅਜੇ ਸਰੀਨ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਕਲਾਤਮਕਤਾ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਹੈ। ਉਨ•ਾਂ ਨੇ ਦੋਨਾਂ ਵਿਭਾਗਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ੰਸ਼ਾ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ। ਇਸ ਅਵਸਰ ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਚੀਨਾ ਗੁਪਤਾ, ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਮੁਕਤੀ ਅਰੋੜਾ, ਨਵਨੀਤਾ, ਬਿੰਦੂ ਕੋਹਲੀ, ਕੋਮਲ, ਸੁਰਭੀ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਅਧਿਆਪਕ ਵੀ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ।
