In order to celebrate the phenomenal accomplishments
of students, the ceremony , Achievers’ Day 2024-25 was celebrated at HMV
Collegiate Sr. Sec. School with exuberance under the influential guidance of
Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen.
The event commenced with an invocation to the Almighty by kindling the
lamp of knowledge and wisdom. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen , School
Co-ordinator and Dean Academics Dr. Seema Marwaha and School Co- coordinator
Mrs. Arvinder Kaur accorded green
welcome to the worthy Chief Guest of the occasion, Mr Rajesh Khokhar, Assistant
Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Jalandhar. On this occasion, Principal Dr.
Ajay Sareen lauded the achievers for their remarkable achievements and
motivated them to put their heart and soul in whatever they do and also have
belief in themselves and their hard work.
Thereafter, Mrs. Arvinder Kaur presented
Annual Report of the session 2024-25 highlighting the academic achievement of
the year. Co-curricular activities, important days and occasions celebrated and
achievements in sports. She concluded
saying that the institution is dedicated and committed towards excellence in
education. Hon’ble Chief Guest, Mr
Rajesh Khokhar in his address advised students to explore their hidden
potential. He told them about the responsibilities they are going to shoulder
in coming future and inspired them to fulfill their duties and responsibilities
wholeheartedly. He shared some personal life experiences with the students and
told students about his journey of life.
Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen, along with the dignitaries felicitated the
prize winners with Trophies, medals and Certificates. Around 170 students were
awarded for their prodigious achievement in scholastic and Co-scholastic
activities. On this occasion, Head Girl,
Joint Head Girl, office bearers and
class representatives were also honoured with certificates. The Best
Student of The Year Award was given to Arshdeep Kaur honouring her commendable
achievements throughout the session. Aish Kaur and Kesh Kaur were given away
the title of Pride of HMV for their achievements in sports and Maya got the
Best Player of the Year Award. The musical element escalated the celebration
with the students sang folk song under the guidance of Dr. Prem Sagar, Head
Music Department. The contented students were highly palpable and were reveling
with joy and happiness for being honoured by the esteemed personalities. The
conveners of the event were Mrs. Upma Gupta and Ms. Vandana Sethi. The event
ended with the recital of National Anthem. Stage was energetically and
successfully conducted by Ms. Sukriti Sharma. On this occasion all the faculty
members from Collegiate School section were present.
